CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Mar 5, 2014) - Detector Exploration Ltd. (TSX-VENTURE:DEX) ("Detector") is pleased to announce that Mr. Barry Holizki has joined the Company as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Engineering and reports to the President, Ron Alexander.

Mr. Holizki is a Professional Engineer and graduate of The University of Saskatchewan with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Holizki has 33 years of oil and gas experience through previous employment at Exshaw Oil Corp. (in Business Development), Sierra Vista Energy Ltd. (VP Engineering), Raven Energy Ltd. (Manager of Engineering) and Underbalanced Drilling Systems Ltd. (VP of Engineering and Development). The board and management of Detector are looking forward to working with Mr. Holizki.
