NEW YORK, July 27  /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R))
today began trading Citigroup Global Markets 8% Select EQUity Indexed NoteS
(SEQUINS) based upon the common stock of Motorola, Inc.  The SEQUINS will trade
under the ticker symbol CYM.  2.55 million shares of the new one-year
securities were issued at $10 each with a maturity date of August 1, 2005

At maturity, holders of SEQUINS will receive shares of Motorola, Inc. common
stock.

The issuer for the SEQUINS is Citigroup Global Markets.  The Amex specialist
unit for the new listing is AGS/STR/OTA.
