Canyon Creek announces a new refrigerated soup launch

EDMONTON, Sept. 23, 2013 /CNW/ - Canyon Creek Food Company Ltd., ("Canyon Creek") listed on the TSX Venture Exchange Inc. under the trading symbol "CYF" is pleased to announce that it has launched a new refrigerated soup.

The product "New England Style Clam Chowder" will be available at a large big box style retailer in Eastern Canada.  The product will be branded under Canyon Creek.  Terry Alty, the President and CEO of Canyon Creek notes that: "this is consistent with our focus to capitalize on the consumers' shift from shelf stable to refrigerated products." 

The relationship with this customer is important as it continues to further strengthen Canyon Creek's retail penetration strategy.
