Amazon Mining Holds AGM and Grants Additional Options to Chairman

Amazon Mining Holding Plc (TSX VENTURE:AMZ) ("Amazon" or the, held its
"Company") Annual and Special Meeting on June 23, 2010 at their Toronto office.
The company is pleased to provide the following summary of resolutions.




--  The Report of the Directors and the Audited Accounts for the year ended
    December 31, 2009 were received and adopted; 
--  PFK (U.K.) LLP were re-appointed as auditors to the Company for the
    following year; 
--  Cristiano Veloso, Jed Richardson, Peter Gundy and Getulio Fonseca were
    re-appointed as Directors of the Company; 
--  The Company's share option plan and the number of Ordinary Shares which
    may be issued under the plan were re-approved; and 
--  Approval was obtained from disinterested shareholders with respect to
    the re-pricing of certain options granted to Jed Richardson, an insider
    of the Company. 



Commenting President & CEO, Cristiano Veloso, said, Amazon"is looking forward to
new milestones in coming months as we develop the Cerrado Verde project,
demonstrating value and mitigating risks. The positive reaction we're receiving

Other Matters

Amazon has issued 350,000 share purchase options to directors, employees and
consultants, exercisable at $1.50 and expiring June 30, 2015.
