Alternative Earth Resources Sets Date for Annual General and Special Meeting

VANCOUVER, May 18, 2016 /CNW/ - Alternative Earth Resources Inc. ("AER" or the "Company") (TSX.V: AER) announced that it will hold its 2015 annual general and special meeting of shareholders (the "Meeting") on Wednesday July 20, 2016, in Vancouver, BC.  The record date for the Meeting shall be June 15, 2016. The board of directors are pleased to be in a position to proceed with this Meeting as a result of the favorable decision of the BC Court of Appeal in the litigation with Jaguar Financial Corp., details of which were disclosed in the news release dated May 6, 2016.
