AsiaBaseMetals Inc. Announces Results from Annual General Meeting

AsiaBaseMetals Inc. ("AsiaBaseMetals" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ABZ)
announces the results of its Annual General Meeting (the "AGM"), which was held
on April 17, 2014 in Vancouver, British Columbia at which 30.86% of the issued
shares were represented.


Shareholders voted in favour of all resolutions presented, including the
re-election of all director nominees, namely Steven Khan, Rick Van Nieuwenhuyse,
Gerald Booth, Raj Chowdhry, and Joseph Piekenbrock.


Steven Khan, Interim CEO, comments that "The Board of Directors would like to
thank the shareholders for their continued support. Management has been given
the mandate to pursue strategic opportunities that will enhance shareholder
