Media Square Plc announces further placing to raise #720,000


Media Square, the AIM-listed marketing communications and marketing services
group, has announced a further placing to raise a total of #720,000 from
institutional investors.


This placing follows the placing and debt capitalisation carried out in
September, when the Company raised #3 million. Today's placing of 6,000,000
shares at 12 pence per share represents a premium of 50 per cent. over the
earlier placing.


The new shares are expected to be admitted to AIM on 7 November 2003.


Commenting on the news, Media Square's Chairman, Kevin Steeds, said:


"There continues to be strong institutional demand for our shares and we were
keen to ensure that the Company and our shareholders benefited from this demand.
We are also very pleased to have been able to attract Electra Quoted Management
onto our shareholder register with an investment of #600,000.


"This new placing follows hard on the heels of our acquisition of the business
and assets of PrePrint Imaging Limited in Leeds. Early discussions with clients
of our retail marketing business and those of PrePrint indicate that the
consolidation of these businesses, to provide the only true one-stop-solution
serving the sector, is being very well received indeed. The additional funds
will enable us to speed up the pace of development and secure market share more
rapidly."
