W. R. Berkley Corporation (NYSE: WRB) today announced the appointment of John J. Forte as president of Berkley Public Entity, a Berkley Company.

Mr. Forte joined Berkley Public Entity as senior vice president, chief underwriting officer and chief operating officer in 2018. He has over 20 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry, where he has served in various technical and leadership roles with a particular focus in the public entity insurance market.
