Walmart Inc. is planning to open its first fulfillment center in Mississippi this spring.
The facility in Olive Branch, just south of the Tennessee state line, will have more than 1 million square feet of space. The site, about 15 miles from Memphis, Tenn., will support about 250 full-time jobs, Walmart said.
Aside from the planned fulfillment center, Walmart has three distribution centers and 86 retail stores in Mississippi.
