Air New Zealand on Friday said Greg Foran, the president and chief executive of Walmart U.S., has been appointed as its new chief executive.
Mr. Foran will assume the position of CEO in the first quarter of 2020.
Walmart Inc. (WMT) said John Furner will succeed Mr. Foran, effective November 1.
Doug McMillan, Walmart's president and CEO, said, "John has done a fantastic job at Sam's Club, and he will continue the momentum we have in Walmart U.S.," adding "John knows our business well, having held many different jobs in the company over more than 25 years."
Mr. Foran will stay on at Walmart until the end of the year to ensure a smooth transition, the company said.
