Raleigh, North Carolina, Signs 10-Year SaaS Agreement for Tyler Technologies’ EnerGov Solution

EnerGov to increase data access and improve business processes and staff communications

Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed a 10-year software-as-a-service agreement with the city of Raleigh, North Carolina, for Tyler’s EnerGov™ planning, regulatory and maintenance platform. The agreement is valued at $9.7 million over the life of the contract and includes hosting services, related professional services and support.

Raleigh, North Carolina’s capital city, conducted a competitive review to replace its legacy land management system with a flexible solution that could grow with the city. Leaders wanted a highly functional solution to increase access to data and reporting tools while leveraging existing GIS data, streamlining workflows and improving staff communication across multiple departments.

EnerGov will help the city streamline business processes and increase employee efficiency and productivity by eliminating manual and duplicate processes.

Raleigh, the second largest city in North Carolina, has approximately 440,000 residents and is the governmental seat of Wake County. In 2015, Wake County partnered with Tyler for EnerGov, as have several other governments in North Carolina’s Research Triangle area.
