District chooses to implement various Tyler solutions to increase access, security of data

Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed an agreement with Leander Independent School District (ISD) in Leander, Texas, for Tyler’s Munis® enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, and integrated Tyler Content Manager™ and Tyler Pulse™ products. The agreement includes software licenses, related professional services, maintenance and support.

After a thorough assessment of its current systems, Leander ISD conducted a competitive review to find an ERP solution that could meet current functionality needs and grow with the district into the future. Leander ISD selected Munis because district leadership saw that its modern features, such as online, real-time access to information, would increase administrative business process efficiency, enhance usability, and improve customer service to various stakeholders.

Leander ISD chose to partner with Tyler because of its extensive experience in the public sector, specifically with providing like-sized districts in Texas with better operational, reporting and analytical tools. The integrated nature of Tyler’s solutions will also help the district streamline its technology footprint while meeting the increased demands for data reporting and security.

The district chose core Munis applications, including financial, accounting and human resource management. Leander ISD will also implement Tyler Content Manager to capture, deliver, manage and archive electronic information and reduce dependency on paper, as well as Tyler Pulse, an information warehouse tool that acts as a central data repository. Tyler’s solutions will help district employees spend more time analyzing data in order to develop accurate forecasts and strategic plans, instead of having to manually collect and manipulate the data.

Leander ISD is in Leander, Texas, about 25 miles north of Austin; it has 36,000 students enrolled across 34 campuses. The district encompasses nearly 200 square miles.
