Samuel A. Di Piazza, Jr. Joins AT&T Board Of Directors

DALLAS, July 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) has appointed Samuel A. Di Piazza, Jr., former Global CEO of PricewaterhouseCoopers, to its Board of Directors. He will serve on the Board's Audit Committee.

Mr. Di Piazza began his career with PwC in 1973 and served as Global CEO from 2002 to 2009. In between, he held a variety of regional leadership roles and served as chairman and senior partner of PwC's U.S. operations. From 2011 to 2014, Di Piazza served as vice chairman of Citigroup's Institutional Clients Group and as a member of its Senior Strategic Advisory Group.

In addition to serving on the DIRECTV and now AT&T board, he is also a director of ProAssurance Corporation and Jones Lang LaSalle Inc., both NYSE listed companies. Also, Di Piazza is chairman of the board of trustees of the Mayo Clinic, is a trustee on the USA Foundation Board of the World Economic Forum and is on the Executive Committee of the National September 11 Memorial.

Di Piazza holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Alabama and an M.S. in tax accounting from the University of Houston.
