State Street Strengthens Technology Leadership Team

Promotes Chris Perretta to Newly Expanded Enterprise Data & Technology Role and Appoints Antoine Shagoury to Global Chief Information Officer

State Street Corporation (NYSE:STT) announced today two appointments to further strengthen its information and technology capabilities and accelerate its digital service offerings.

Chris Perretta, who previously served as chief information officer (CIO), has been promoted to a newly created position as global head of enterprise data and technology. Perretta will be responsible for advancing State Street’s technology strategy and combining data and insights to deliver new digital tools and platforms for clients. State Street announced last month that it was accelerating the next phase of its transformation program, and Perretta will play an integral role in developing the strategy towards an end vision of an organization that is digitally integrated across infrastructure, workflows, products and data.

Antoine Shagoury has been appointed to executive vice president and global CIO, reporting to Perretta. Shagoury joins State Street from the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) where he was group chief information and group chief operating officer for the past five years. At LSEG, he had global responsibility for all technology and operations across capital markets, information and data services, and post trade.
