Star Navigation Announces STAR V-trk™ Shipments

Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd. (CSE:SNA) (CSE:SNA.CN) ("Star" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce the shipment of two units of the STAR V-trk™ to its customer and  V-trk distributor in China, Tianjin Zhonglian Tiantong Space Technology Co. Ltd., ("ZLT"). (See Press release May 11, 2017).

ZLT will be in charge of product distribution and associated services in China, addressing the requirements of local operators, from general aviation to regional aircraft and helicopters. STAR is promoting the STAR V-trk™ in the rest of the world.

The STAR V-trk™ performs tracking and positioning through satcom, and can provide on-board data collection, processing and downloading.

With services accessible through a web-based portal, it will provide quick and improved situational awareness.

 It’s highly reduced form-factor makes it ideal for simple installation on-board a large variety of aerospace assets where real estate and weight are critical.

The STAR V-trk™ specifically targets small and medium-sized aircraft as well as the helicopter market segment. Future developments also include rapid applications to ground vehicles.

The STAR V-trk™ is intended to be offered in several versions, offering the customers flexibility in configuration and scalability to meet the operator’s diverse needs.
