McMahon will lead a region in one of the four geographic areas – West, Central, Northeast and South – Sprint created when it reorganized to devote targeted resources to 18 top regions. Under McMahon’s leadership, the company will develop market-specific offerings serving the unique local needs of consumer and business customers.

“Our regional structure positions Sprint to better connect with our customers and frontline associates so we can deliver even more competitive offers through a localized approach. Michael has nearly two decades of industry experience and an impressive track record of competing and winning on a local level. I’m confident his leadership will help us win in the Great Plains Region.”

The Central geographic area covers Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Wisconsin. It encompasses more than 533 company-owned or Sprint-branded retail stores.

“Sprint is disrupting the industry with innovative, competitive offers that result in real cost savings for wireless consumers. I’m excited to be part of the regional team, which continues to build on Sprint’s momentum by better connecting with customers on a local level.”
