Energy Transfer LP (ET) and Royal Dutch Shell's (RDSA) Shell US LNG issued an invitation to tender to bid for the Lake Charles LNG project.
The invitation to tender is to U.S. and international consortia for the engineering, procurement and construction contract to convert Energy Transfer's existing liquefied natural gas import facility in Lake Charles, La., to a proposed large-scale LNG export project.
The Lake Charles project is a 50/50 venture between Energy Transfer and Shell.
