--Morgan Stanley is planning to cut about 1,500 jobs, aimed mostly at technology and operations, CNBC reports Monday, citing "people with knowledge of the situation."
--The cuts equal 2% of Morgan Stanley's workforce, the report said.
--A company spokesman declined to comment, according to the report.
