MetLife, Inc. (NYSE: MET) today announced that Michel Khalaf, president and CEO, will participate in the “Women's Empowerment Principles: Foundations for Equality in Practice” panel discussion at the U.N. Global Compact “Target Gender Equality Live” conference on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, beginning at 8:00 a.m. (ET). Khalaf will join other partners of the Women’s Empowerment Principles to reflect on past accomplishments and discuss the path forward to gender equity.

“MetLife’s partnership with the U.N. plays an integral role in our approach to advancing gender equity in the workplace and in our communities,” Khalaf said. “Maintaining frequent and candid dialogue at forums like this is essential to identifying barriers and expanding opportunities for women across the globe.”
