McDonald's Up Nearly 6%, on Pace for Largest Percent Increase Since October 2015 -- Data Talk

McDonald's Corp. (MCD) is currently at $176.60, up $9.97 or 5.98%

-- Would be highest close since Jan. 29, 2018, when it closed at $177.77

-- On pace for largest percent increase since Oct. 22, 2015, when it rose 8.12%

-- Earlier Tuesday, McDonald's reported third-quarter same-store sales rose 4.2% world-wide. Analysts polled by Consensus Metrix were expecting same-stores sales to increase 3.7%. The company's third-quarter profit fell 13% to $1.64 billion. It said earnings were $2.10 a share, down from $2.32 a share, but still beating estimates

-- Up 7.76% from 52 weeks ago (Oct. 24, 2017), when it closed at $163.88
