Lowe's Cos. (LOW) on Friday said its board raised the quarterly dividend by 14.6% to 55 cents from 48 cents.
The new payout, equal to $2.20 a year, represents an annual yield of about 2.34% based on Thursday's closing price of $93.88, up from about 2.05%.
The Mooresville, N.C., home-improvement retailer said the increased dividend is payable Aug. 7 to shareholders of record July 24.
