Kyndryl, which will become a new, independent public company following the separation of IBM's Managed Infrastructure Services business, said Tuesday it named 10 members to its board of directors.
Martin Schroeter, who served as IBM's senior vice president of global markets and as the chief financial officer, was named as the board's chairman.
Stephen Hester was named lead independent director. He was chief executive for RSA Insurance Group and also served as CEO of Royal Bank of Scotland. Currently, he serves as an independent director for easyJet and will assume the role as chairman in December.
Other members of the board include Dominic J. Caruso, former EVP and chief financial officer for Johnson & Johnson; John Harris, the former Vice President of Business Development for Raytheon; Dr. Shirley Ann Jackson, president of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; Janina Kugel, former chief human resources officer and member of the managing board for Siemens AG; Denis Machuel, CEO for Sodexo; Rahul Merchant, a senior EVP for the Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America-College Retirement Equities Fund; Jana Schreuder, former EVP and chief operating officer for Northern Trust Corporation; and Howard Ungerleider, president and CFO for Dow.
The board appointments were approved by the IBM board of directors, Kyndryl said.
