International Business Machines Corp. said it would acquire the Adobe Workfront consulting unit and assets from Rego Consulting Corp.
The company said the deal aims to further its hybrid cloud and AI strategy. The consultancy specializes in work management software consulting for enterprise clients.
IBM said it has been investing to bolster its hybrid cloud and AI strategy and capabilities, including a heavy focus on acquiring consultative services like the Adobe Workfront business of Rego.
Upon the close of the deal, the Adobe Workfront business of Rego will join the Adobe practice within IBM iX, the customer and experience transformation group of IBM Consulting.
IBM didn't disclose financial details of the deal.
