U.S. Hot Stocks: Hot Stocks to Watch

Among the companies with shares expected to trade actively in Thursday's session are McCormick & Co. (MKC), FXCM Inc. (FXCM) and ConAgra Foods Inc. (CAG).

ConAgra said Thursday that it would cut about 1,500 jobs and relocate its headquarters as part of a cost-reduction plan as the company is pressured by an activist firm and the packaged-food business experiences broad tumult. Shares were flat at $40.51 in premarket trading

Hewlett-Packard Co.'s (HPQ) board approved the computer giant's previously announced plan to split onto two companies, the company said Thursday. Shares were flat at $25.61 premarket.

McCormick on Thursday reported its profit fell in its latest quarter as currency impacts and weak results in its India business dented the spice maker's earnings, damping the outlook for the year. Shares fell 3.61% to $79.21 premarket.

Dave & Buster's Entertainment Inc. (PLAY) said it would raise about $255 million in a secondary offering, as some of the arcade and restaurant chain's shareholders look to cash in on a stock that is sitting near its all-time high. Shares rose 1.51% to $38.40 premarket.

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (TEVA) agreed to acquire Representaciones & Investigaciones Medicas SA, or Rimsa, for $2.3 billion, expanding the Israel-based drugmaker's presence in Mexico. Shares rose 1.58% to $57.35 premarket.

Foreign-exchange broker FXCM said Thursday that a cybersecurity breach led to a "small number" of unauthorized wire transfers from customers' accounts.

BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. (BMRN) said Thursday that it has bought the global rights from Merck & Co. to its oral drug to treat genetic disorder Phenylketonuria, or PKU, a move to increase its international market for the medicine.
