Shares of General Electric Co. (GE) are among the most active stocks Thursday, after UBS raised its recommendation and price target on the stock.
At 3:37 p.m. EST, shares of GE had risen 4.88% to trade at $11.50. Volume topped 72.1 million shares, above the 65-day average of some 50.6 million. The stock is closing on the 52-week high of $11.84, reached in November.
Before the bell Thursday, UBS upgraded GE to buy from hold, and raised its price target to $14 per share from $11.50, as reported by Barron's. A UBS analysts said 2020 would be an "inflection year" for the company.
