Freeport-McMoRan Inc. issued a press release dated August 29, 2017, providing an update on PT Freeport Indonesia’s (“PT-FI”) negotiations with the Indonesian Government regarding PT-FI’s long-term operating rights. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated in this Item 8.01 by reference.
