                      Extraordinary General Meeting result
                   Admission of new shares to trading on AIM


3 November 2003



At the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company held on Friday 31 October
all resolutions put to shareholders were duly passed.


Completion of the #1.05 million financing, announced on 29 September 2003, is
now conditional only on admission of 350,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the
capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to trading on AIM. Application has
been made for the 350,000 Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading and it is
expected that admission will become effective tomorrow, 4 November 2003.


European Diamonds PLC is listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in
London and its shares trade under the symbol EPD.
