Item 5.02	Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(d) On October 17, 2016, John G. Stumpf notified Chevron Corporation (“Chevron”) that he was resigning as a director of Chevron, which resignation was effective immediately. Mr. Stumpf resigned for personal reasons and not as a result of a disagreement with Chevron.
