Gov. Rendell To Address F.O.R.C.E. Gathering 


MONESSEN, Pa., May 13  /PRNewswire/ -- Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell will be the
featured speaker at the Families Organized to Represent the Coal Economy
(F.O.R.C.E.) First Annual Dinner at the Meadowlands Holiday Inn this Friday,
May 14, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

F.O.R.C.E. is a grassroots, non-profit organization established to provide an
avenue for all coal and coal-related companies and their employees to unite, to
share information and to promote awareness of coal and coal's importance to
Pennsylvania and its economy.

In addition to Rendell, other dinner speakers for the evening's event will be
J. Brett Harvey, President & CEO, CONSOL Energy Inc.; and Daniel Desmond,
Deputy Secretary, Office of Energy and Technology Development (OETD).
Organizers report that the event has been sold out, with representatives
expected from the coal industry, vendors and suppliers, state regulatory
agencies and local and state elected officials.
