Crown Castle International Corp. (CCI) reported a 66% increase in net income in its latest quarter.
The real estate investment trust company said it earned $246 million, or 52 cents a share in the the second quarter, compared with $180 million, or 36 cents a share, a year earlier.
Adjusted funds from operations were $619 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $595.9 million.
Net revenues rose 11% to $1.48 billion. Analysts expected $1.42 billion.
For the full year, the company said it expects net income between $896 million to $956 million and adjusted funds from operations of $2.46 billion to $2.49 billion. It previously guided for between $781 million and $861 million in profit.
