Shares of Craft Brew Alliance Inc. (BREW) recently traded up 118% after hours Monday to $16 after Anheuser-Busch, which owns a 31.2% stake, offered to buy the remaining shares for $16.50 each.
Craft Brew Alliance said, "Today's announcement represents an exciting next step in a long and successful partnership with Anheuser-Busch."
Most of CBA's brands are distributed through A-B's network of independent wholesalers under an existing commercial agreement.
