Expedia Group Inc. said Tuesday it received a binding offer from American Express Global Business Travel for Egencia, Expedia's corporate travel arm, the companies said.
Under the proposed deal, terms of which the companies didn't disclose, Expedia would become a shareholder in and enter a long-term commercial agreement with American Express Global Business Travel, the companies said Tuesday.
Expedia will report first-quarter results after market close Thursday.
