AVALONBAY COMMUNITIES, INC. (NYSE: AVB) announced today that its 2018 Annual Meeting of Stockholders will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 8:00 A.M. local time. Stockholders of record of the Company's Common Stock as of the close of business on March 9, 2018 are entitled to vote at and attend the Annual Meeting. The meeting will be held at the Westin Arlington Gateway hotel, 801 N. Glebe Rd., Arlington, VA 22203.
