Item 8.01   Other Events.

 

On November 7, 2021, Alcoa Corporation issued a press release announcing that the Portland Aluminium joint venture plans to restart 35,000 metric tons per year of curtailed capacity at its aluminum smelter in the State of Victoria in Australia.

 

A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein.
