SALT LAKE CITY, Oct. 27  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Zions Bancorporation  has
been recognized as Utah's top revenue growth company by the MountainWest Venture
Group for the fourth consecutive year.  The award is based on revenue growth
from 1998 to 2002, and was presented last week at the MountainWest Venture
Group's ninth annual "Utah 100" luncheon in Salt Lake City.

The MountainWest Venture Group's annual Utah 100 luncheon recognizes Utah's 100
fastest growing companies and the 15 largest revenue growth companies for their
significant contribution to the state of Utah and its expanding economy.  Utah
Lieutenant Governor Olene Walker presented Zions Bancorporation with its award.
