Werner Enterprises Named 2018 SmartWay High Performer

Werner Enterprises (NASDAQ: WERN), a premier transportation and logistics company, is honored to be named a 2018 SmartWay High Performer by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for its efforts to produce more efficient and sustainable supply chain transportation solutions.

SmartWay Partners submit efficiency and air quality performance data to the EPA annually, and the EPA aggregates and divides the data into five ranked performance ranges. Werner was recognized in the truck carrier fleets all metrics, truck carrier fleets carbon metric and dray carrier fleets PM and NOx metrics categories.
