Item 7.01

Regulation FD Disclosure.

On September 20, 2017, Western Digital Corporation announced that several of its SanDisk subsidiaries have filed an additional Request for Arbitration with the ICC International Court of Arbitration related to three NAND flash-memory joint ventures operated with Toshiba Corporation. The press release making this statement is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
