Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. on Wednesday said its board raised the company's quarterly dividend by 2.1%, to 47.75 cents a share.
The new dividend will be payable on Sept. 10 to shareholders of record on August 20, the company said.
The increase raises the company's annual rate to $1.91 a share, the company said.
Walgreens Boots Alliance said it and its predecessor company, Walgreen Co., have raised dividends for 46 consecutive years and have paid a dividend in 355 straight quarters.
