Trinity Biotech plc Announces Results of Annual General Meeting

 

At the Annual General Meeting (the “Meeting”) of the Company held on September 30, 2024, shareholders approved the following resolutions (as more fully set out in the Notice of the Meeting dated September 5, 2024):

 

1.	To re-appoint Grant Thornton as statutory auditor of the Company to hold office until the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting at which accounts are laid before the Company.

 

2.	To authorise the board of directors to fix the statutory auditors' remuneration.

 

3.	To re-appoint Dr Andrew Omidvar as a director who retires, and being eligible, offers himself for re-appointment.

 

After the Meeting, the Board of Directors resolved to appoint Thomas Lindsay as a director of the Company on an interim basis until the next Annual General Meeting given, amongst other reasons, the obligation of the Company to maintain an independent audit committee, which is a role Mr. Lindsay fulfils.
