Somera Appoints Scott Willis as Senior Vice President, Global
Services
DALLAS, June 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Somera Communications, Inc.
(NASDAQ:SMRA), a global provider of telecommunications asset management
services, announced that Scott Willis, age 41, has joined the company as Senior
Vice President, Global Services. Mr. Willis will be located at the company's
headquarters in the technology corridor in Dallas, Texas.

Mr. Willis was most recently Vice President and General Manager at Nokia
Networks, responsible for overall global management for leading RBOC and
wireless service providers. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of
Sales and Marketing at Keybridge Corporation, a global provider of managed
services. Mr. Willis has also held senior management positions at both
BellSouth and Sprint Corporation, where he achieved increasing levels of
responsibilities resulting from demonstrated success in sales and market
development.
Mr. Willis holds a Bachelor degree in finance from the University of Oklahoma
and an MBA from Wake Forest University in North Carolina.
