DENVER, March 4  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Prima Energy Corporation  has
scheduled a conference call for Thursday, March 11, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Mountain
Standard Time (1:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time), to review the Company's 2003
fourth quarter and full year financial results and provide an update on
operations.  Earnings will be released after the market closes on Wednesday,
March 10, 2004.

Interested parties may access the conference call by dialing [phone] and
providing conference I.D. "PRIMA."  Replays will be available from 1:00 p.m.
