Public Vote to Crown America's Most Unique Small Business Underway

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Nov. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Small businesses represent nearly 95 percent of all U.S. employers, and as such, play an integral role in the economy. But, their impact is felt well beyond their economic power. Today, in recognition of this week's Small Business Saturday, Paychex, Inc., a leading provider of payroll, HR, retirement, and insurance services for small- and mid-sized businesses, is shining a spotlight on that innovation by launching its search for America's Most Unique Small Business.

Out of hundreds of submissions, Paychex selected 32 finalists that will go head-to-head in a bracket-style contest. The first round of public voting begins today, November 20. Four rounds of voting will cover six weeks and culminate in a holiday championship showdown. After a two-week final round, December 23 through January 5, America's Most Unique Small Business will be announced the week of January 8.
