Mondelez International said Thursday that it added Carlsberg Group's Chief Executive Cees 't Hart to its board of directors.
Shares rise 0.2% to $73.99 in after-hours trading.
The Chicago-based maker of Oreo cookies and Triscuit crackers said the appointment of Hart expands the size of the company's board of directors to 10 members.
In March, the Copenhagen-based brewer said Hart would retire as its CEO and leave the company by the end of the third quarter. It named Jacob Aarup-Andersen as his successor.
Hart has headed Carlsberg since 2015.
