Trendy Value Retailer Five Below To Open Its First Nine California Stores This Friday

LOS ANGELES, April 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The trend-right, extreme-value retailing phenomenon Five Below (NASDAQ: FIVE) will formally open its first nine L.A. area stores tomorrow, Friday, April 21, with appearances by the popular "Laker Girls," product giveaways, drawings and five-cent hot dogs.

The rapidly growing retailer will simultaneously open at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 21, at the following locations:

Aliso Viejo – Aliso Viejo Town Center
Anaheim – Anaheim Plaza
Compton – Gateway Towne Center
Fontana – Falcon Ridge Shopping Center 
Hawthorne – Oceangate Commerce Center
Montebello – Montebello Plaza
Rancho Cucamonga – Terra Vista Town Center 
Redlands – Citrus Plaza Shopping Center
South Gate – Azalea Shopping Center

The grand openings will feature appearances by the famed "Laker Girls" dance and cheerleader group at all nine locations.  Each store will also offer 5-cent hot dogs (3:00-6:00 p.m. Friday, 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Saturday), and provide a free cinch sack with purchase (while supplies last).  The first 100 people in line at 10:00 a.m. Friday (April 21) will receive a mystery scratch-off ticket worth up to $100 toward Five Below purchases.
