eBay Down Over 7%, On Pace for Largest Percent Decrease In Just Over a Year -- Data Talk

eBay Inc. (EBAY) is currently at $36.24, down $2.97 or 7.56%

-- Would be lowest close since June 3, 2019, when it closed at $35.62

-- On pace for largest percent decrease since Oct. 19, 2018, when it fell 8.87%

-- On Wednesday, eBay posted a third-quarter net of $310 million, 57% lower than the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings rose to 67 cents a share from 56 cents a share a year earlier

-- The company lowered its forecast for the December quarter, which is typically bolstered by the holiday shopping season. EBay said it expects to earn a profit of $1.97 to $2.02 a share on $10.75 billion to $10.80 billion in revenue, compared with its previous guidance of $1.97 to $2.07 a share in profit on $10.75 billion to $10.83 billion in revenue

-- Earlier Thursday, JPMorgan cut eBay's price target to $40 from $42. Wedbush slashed it to $36 from $38, while Bank of America trimmed it to $42 from $45. Benzinga reported that four other firms cut their price target on eBay and that Raymond James downgraded the company to market perform from outperform

-- Down 7.04% month-to-date; on pace for worst month since May 2019, when it fell 7.28%

-- Up 29.09% year-to-date; on pace for best year since 2012, when it rose 68.14%

-- Up 29.13% from 52 weeks ago (Oct. 25, 2018), when it closed at $28.06

-- Traded as low as $35.19; lowest intraday level since Feb. 8, 2019, when it hit $34.91

-- Down 10.23% at today's intraday low; largest intraday percent decrease since July 19, 2018, when it fell as much as 10.59%

-- Fifth worst performer in the S&P 500 today

-- Worst performer in the Nasdaq 100 today

-- Seventh most active stock in the Nasdaq 100 today
