Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. expects revenue this quarter to come in ahead of Wall Street targets and raised the low end of the revenue projection for the year, following stronger-than-expected performance in the most recent quarter.
The professional-services firm now expects $17.8 billion to $18.1 billion in revenue, up from its earlier view of $17.6 billion to $18.1 billion, and affirmed projections for adjusted profit of $3.90 to $4.02 a share.
This quarter, it sees $4.42 billion to $4.46 billion in revenue, compared with analysts' projected $4.38 billion, according to FactSet.
