Casey's General Stores Set to Open First Store in Michigan

Casey’s General Stores, Inc. will open its first Michigan location in Watervliet on April 13, 2018.

“We are very excited about opening our first store in Michigan. I believe Watervliet is an ideal community for us,” said Terry Handley, President and CEO of Casey’s General Stores, Inc.

Michigan will mark the 16th state of operation for Casey’s, with plans for additional locations in the near future.

The Watervliet store is located at 3781 M-140. There will be a two-day Grand Opening event held Friday and Saturday, April 20 and 21, to celebrate Casey’s inaugural store in Michigan. A ribbon cutting will be held Friday, April 20 at 10:00 AM ET.

The 4,500-square-foot store will be open 24-hours, and will offer a six-pump setup along with Casey’s famous made-from-scratch pizza, fresh sub sandwich station, bakery items, full-service coffee station, and more.
