Liberty Media Corporation Announces Special Meeting of Stockholders

Liberty Media Corporation (Nasdaq: LSXMA, LSXMB, LSXMK, BATRA, BATRK, LMCA, LMCK) (“Liberty”) will be holding a Special Meeting of Stockholders on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., local time, at the corporate offices of Liberty, 12300 Liberty Boulevard, Englewood, Colorado 80112. The record date for the meeting is 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on December 12, 2016. At the special meeting, holders will be asked to vote on proposals relating to Liberty’s issuance of shares of its Series C Liberty Media common stock in connection with the proposed acquisition of Formula 1 and the renaming of the Liberty Media Group and the Liberty Media common stock to the Formula One Group and the Liberty Formula One common stock, respectively, following the proposed acquisition of Formula 1 by Liberty.
