American Capital Agency Corp. Declares Monthly Common Stock Dividend of $0.18 per Common Share for August 2016

BETHESDA, Md., July 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- American Capital Agency Corp. ("AGNC" or the "Company") (Nasdaq: AGNC) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of $0.18 per share of common stock for August 2016.  The dividend is payable on September 9, 2016 to common stockholders of record as of August 31, 2016, with an ex-dividend date of August 29, 2016.

The Company intends to disclose its July 31, 2016 estimated net book value per common share in mid-August.
