BEVERLY, Mass., June 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Axcelis Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACLS), a leading supplier of innovative, high-productivity solutions for the semiconductor industry, announced today that it has received several follow on orders for the Purion H™ high current and Purion XE™ high energy systems from leading chip manufacturers across the Asia Pacific Region, including China. These systems will support high volume production of NAND, DRAM, mature logic and image sensor devices to support the growing IoT, mobile and data storage markets. The systems are scheduled to ship in the second quarter.
